[NTLUG:Discuss] FYI

This us just my opinion, and don't want or expect any replies, just FYI:

Top-posting [on lists like these] is confusing [to me], _in_most_cases_.
Sometimes Top-posting is appropriate when your comment is stand alone
or when your comment supersedes all that follows, but in most cases,
replying to a message by typing your response above previous questions
or comments is confusing because your readers will have to scroll down
to see what existing thread is about in order to grasp the point of your
reply, and then scroll back up again to read your reply, and when three
or four comments are on the same post, it gets pretty confusing [unless
they're all bottom posted, then it's not so bad]. It only takes an
extra second or two to find the best place to put your comment, and to
also trim off any excess text that detracts from the point or comment
you're trying to make.
Again, this is just FYI, take it or leave it, it's just my opinion and I
could be wrong, as I often am. :)
No reply / comment expected, needed, or wanted.
Thanks.
