MadHat,
I'm not afraid to give credit where credit is due in public. You've
accepted a duty that is a general PIA and you've done a great job. I
would hazard to guess that you're sorely under paid for this job ;)
Everyone,
Sometimes people just need to "take a chill pill", as the saying goes,
and move on. I'd guess that the number of MH "let's drop the crap"
posts are less than 0.1% of the traffic while the flames seem to be
growing. Sometimes when the list is slow, and a not exactly on topic
thread has been running, I've thought that MH was too quick to jump in.
But that didn't cause me to fly off the handle at him and get down
right rude and belligerent.
My 2 cents, if MH says we've beaten a dead horse too much, or gotten too
much ego in the thread, beat the dead horse off list, and move on. If
MH has said that a topic is too much off topic and you disagree, request
a vote be taken by the list. I'm sure MH would be willing to abide by a
majority wish. But not a "me too" fest!
Ok, I'm moving on ;)
