[NTLUG:Discuss] Novell SuSe DVD's...was Re: O'Reilly Discussion Guidelines

I also received the Novell Suse DVD's (which don't do me any good because
my computer is, relatively speaking, ancient and doesn't have a DVD drive
in it yet)...and I had a question about what exactly is on those discs.
Looking at the folder they came in, it appears the versions are "trial
version"s.  What is that supposed to mean?  Does that mean they'll support
them for 30 days and then no more support without subscription?  Or does
that mean they somehow disable the software after 30 days?  What does
Novell mean by a "30-day trial" version of SuSe Professional 9.1?
