[NTLUG:Discuss] Microsoft evil alert

I was just notified by my hosting provider that Microsoft is now blocking smtp traffic
when the source is sending spam and potential spam to a mailbox there. For example...
if you have an email at blah at yourdomain.com and you use spam assassin to route
potential spam to blah at hotmail.com or blah at msn.com, Microsoft can and will
indiscriminantly block yourdomain.com from being able to send to ANY
msn or hotmail account (potentially). Obviously, Microsoft is mainly interested
in large hosting providers that house multiple domains where customers redirect
potential spam to a spam catching account at msn.com and hotmail.com.

The have already blocked futurequest.net (my hosting provider... though they
are quite skilled and have circumvented their blocking for now).

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on Microsoft's latest use of their
monopoly power.

Regards,
Chris
