[NTLUG:Discuss] using the dsl and dial up connections at the same time

Hello all,
I am using suse 9.1 and I am trying to use my dial up and ethernet 
connection at the same time. The reason is I have a linux box that is 
not on the network. So I want to keep my ethernet connection going for 
web and e-mail while I dial into another box.  The problem is my browser 
dies when I start the dial up connection. Surely I can do this
