There are tools for every job.  Much as I would not use a wrench to
hammer in a nail, I would not use Windows to do high-reliability file
service.  Once can be used for the other, but if you use a wrench to
hammer a nail, it takes a while.  If you use Windows for anything that
requires reliability, you'll get some reliability, but not enough.
