I just had a user ask if our VPN into the company was on a Microsoft
server. My answer was "Let's see, that would mean that I would have to
put a Microsoft box directly on internet to protect the other Microsoft
boxes that were too insecure (by MS's own admission) to be on the
internet. Doesn't that sound like a Catch-22 to you?"
He just left, muttering.
BTW, we use Linux and Windows both.
