Hello everybody,
I have a Suse 9.1 box that was improperly shutdown and now KDE does not
start properly. At the kdm login screen I select KDE as my preferred WM
for the session but when I login I get a very plain xterm window (twm?)
and thats it. At this point, I usually have to start kde from the xterm
window by typing "kde" and then everything seems to work ok. Of course,
during the session I can't close the xterm window without killing KDE.
How do I fix this so that KDE starts normally?
TIA,
Brian
