You should be able to get her addressbook from Outlook Express, but you
will have to fire up Win98 and run OE to do so. Depending on the
version of OE (I have version 6 on my PC here), you can export your
address book in either "Microsoft Exchange Personal Address Book" format
or a comma delimited file. I assume (I know, never assume) you can
import a csv file into Evolution or Thunderbird.

Subject: [NTLUG:Discuss] Evolution - import - export
Evolutioin seems to only have import, no export. What's up?
Is there a workaround? or not?
My cousin is wanting to switch from Evolution to Tunderbird and has an
extensive addressbook in Evolutioin. Is there some way he can
transfer that data to Thunderbird's addressbook.
Question #2
I have [another] friend who's switched to Linux [from Win98]. (I helped
a lot.)
She has Win98 on hdb (old computer died, I installed the drive from
her old PC as slave in her new computer).
Is there any way to get her addressbook from Outlook Express?
(She too is using Thunderbird, thanks to me).
[Sorry, but Thunderbird is just the most user friendly one around.]
