[NTLUG:Discuss] suse 9.0 and a raid

Hello All,
This is format and partition question
I have a 1.5 tera byte raid that I want to install on a machine running 
suse 9.0

I have an adaptec 39320 dual controller in the machine. The raid has a 
primary and secondary controller on it as well.
When I open yast to partition the raid,  I see sda and sdb both say they 
are 1.5 tera bytes in size.

What would be the best way to partition this device
Should I split the raid and have 750 gigs on channel a and put the rest 
onto channel b.
Or can I set it up so that both of the channels are writing to the same 
volume without splitting it up?
