On your external raid unit, split into two volumes each on a seperate
LUN and then you can change the visibility of each interface to the
external raid box to just show the one drive (one showing Volume A
and one showing Volume B).  Then you can do with it whatever you want.

Right now (I think), both controller interfaces are showing the SAME drive.

But if yours is like many RAID units, you may not gain as much as you
think and you might find it just as easy to just use one interface
with just one volume.
