Back in 2003 I bought an MSI K7T Turbo2 motherboard from Altex in San Antonio.
It supports PC133 up to 1.5 GB. It is an AMD Socket A motherboard. It
only supports USB 1.1 on the motherboard. It does support ATA 100.
Altex no longer shows this board listed.
This motherboard is still listed on MSI at www.msi.com.tw. MSI lists
it as K7T Turbo 2.
Price Grabber does not list it but showed 3 places reporting it. I
checked Yahoo. They showed four places with prices from $59.99 to
$235. I paid closer to $59.99 at Altex. It was less than $100 for
sure.
There are many Google hits for this board. The reviews are about 50%
for and 50% against.
In 2003 it was reviewed as the "last of the good PC133 motherboards".
I have had an MSI motherboard before and I felt it was not as "robust"
as I would like.

The Altex guys thought I was crazy for buying it because it was
"dated" technology in 2003.
I bought it because my HP clone BIOS died and left me with 1 GB of
PC133 memory, an AMD Duron processor and all the other components of a
good working system except the BIOS and the case.
I can't give you any first-hand working information. I never got
around to assembling it into a working system. I also bought an Asus
A7N8X, an AMD Athlon 2500+ CPU, some DDR333 memory, killer graphics
card, disks, DVD+/-RW, and a case but never put them together either.
My life went "tilt" about that time.

Thanks,

Robert
