True. But how many of those people are there? My guess would be a
small, even negligible, percentage of the total number of computer
users. I would imagine that most people are not tech-savvy enough to
do what you (and probably what most of the people on this list) can do.
Therefore, they may find it cheaper to hold on to that original Win98
computer for as long as possible and then buy a new computer with a
newer OS. But that's just a guess. Which is why I'm asking if anyone
know of some "hard" numbers.
