I once talked to someone that's done a few of successful RH9-FC1
upgrades. He just did it using "yum -y update" and he gave me his
notes:
===============================
All I usually did for a rh9->fc1 upgrade was: 1) clean out all the kernels,
rpm -e each kernel I wasn't currently using. 2) install yum on rh9 with a
yum.conf pointing to fc1 repos. 3) manually upgrade redhat-release package.
4) actually do the upgrade: "yum -y update"
