What kind of nic do each of you have if onboard.  If I remember correctly
the flashing led is a sign of kernel panic.

I'm seeing the same thing with FC3 with a caveat:

No DHCP.

If the cable is disconnected everything comes up roses.

I know the hardware is good, but it's really weird to watch the box hang
on boot at initialization of eth0.
