[NTLUG:Discuss] Install problem

Try a couple live CDs first.  i.e. knoppix, slax, mdklive, etc.
If hardware is ok, try Slackware 10.0
(If slax loads up in GUI mode ok, you can be pretty sure Slackware
10.0 will install without a hitch.)
