Firefox is a web browser only whereas the Mozilla suite includes
Mail/News, Composer, etc.

The Mozilla Foundation has staked their future on Firefox+Thunderbird.
There will be no more official feature releases of the Mozilla Suite
(aka Seamonkey) from the Mozilla Foundation. It will become a community
supported project.

There may be a few specific features in the Suite that are not currently
available for Firefox. It is largely a personal preference thing. If
you have been using Mozilla for years, you may have trouble giving it
up. Or you may fall in love with Firefox, just give it a try.

Yes.
