[NTLUG:Discuss] DualHead video setup using TV

I sort of asked this question the other day, but I was fuzzy on
what I wanted. Now I know more of what I need....

Is there any video card ( hopefully a single video card ) setup
that works with Linux that lets you configure a dual headed
X-windows video setup where the 2nd monitor is a TV ( via
a s-video cable )?

I've set up dual headed systems in the past using a agp
and pci video card and hooking up 2 monitors. What I
want to do now is use my single ATI Radeon 9000 card
that has both a VGA and S-Video outputs and be able
to run applicatins ( games / videos ) on my monitor or
my TV.

It's farily trivial ( now ) to set up with windows, but I want
to do this on my linux box.

I think that the ATI drivers are 'proprietary' and hard to
get working with 'non supported' versions of linux. Would
I have better luck with nvidia cards/drivers?

Thanks - jack
