Howdy,
  I don't understand how you got your numbers.  I
won't criticize you using whatever criteria you
want, since that is one of the values of open source
to me.  I am just curious how you did the analysis.
For the latest release of Mandriva, you say it is 22
days since the previous release.  According to
distrowatch, the relevant dates would be Dec 6, 2004
for version 10.1 and May 2, 2005 for 2005-LE.  That
seems like a lot more than 22 days.  There were some
release candidates and an x64 version in the interim,
but those were not separate versions.  And, by your
criteria, I expect you will be moving Mandriva up
your list since thay are going to a once per year
release schedule.
