[NTLUG:Discuss] Force permissions on a directory?

I will have to check into that, but even so, I don't want it to
be system-wide setting. I just want the files to inherit the
mode of the parent directory.
I was really hoping there was a way to enforce it per directory.
I guess not.
I am using the sshd bundled with Fedora Core 3. It was set up
during the install.
