Very often Dell includes useful BIOS utilities on
those disks, which you actually do need. I am not
familiar with that particular PowerEdge model, but I'd
suspect those server disks at least contain the BIOS
stuff for the RAID drives.
Can't hurt to try and install it and then do a Linux
install.
