Yes, and spend some time watching them drool over the SFF cases @ Frys.
Burton's Rules:
(1) Buy a DARN GOOD power supply
(2) Buy a decent motherboard
(3) Buy a LOT of RAM
(4) Buy a processor one or two notches below the bleeding edge - that's
where the value is.
(5) Buy a case with some growth room. Not the cheapest, because it's
covered in burrs, but don't spend a lot.
Said PC will give you many years of faithful service at a reasonable price.

People like the cool cases on Apple hardware. The cases look that neat
because they don't have to have room for the obligatory 6 PCI slots.
