Howdy,
Apple frequently has a better sense of style in their case design,
That is one of the reasons I had been wanting a B&W for a few years. I
don't think Apple has any particular magic there. I have always
attributed it to their market. Most PC are sold into corporate
environments where the buyers don't want stylish, but want function.
Apple has marketed to creative types and produced products that were
appropriate for their market. The B&W was one of the best designs they
produced, and was not excelled until the aluminum G5, IMO. SGI and
Intergraph have produced some really snazzy designs, too, but none that
were affordable, like the Apple. Apple may be more expensive, but it is
approachable.
Good day,
Ralph
