Once you get the mouse to work directly connected you still might have
an issue when you attach it to the KVM. Depending upon which version of
Linux and X I'm running I have to disconnect and reconnect my mouse or
switch to virtual console 1 and back to 7 and then the mouse works. It's
odd but it's something I live with daily with my Belkin Omni Cube 4-Port
KVM.
It's annoying but at least it's easily fixable. But your mouse does have
to work correctly directly connected first.
