Just a suggestion;
http://eclipse.org

Java guys love it, but it was originally written for C/C++ coding.  So
far as I know, the C/C++ modules are pretty good.  I will confess to
having only lightly used them for one project, though.   They did what
I  wanted, so I had nothing to complain about.

Its OpenSource, and came from IBM Labs originally.  Runs on Linux quite
happily, as well.
