My guess is that you won't find Mandrake/Fedora/SUSE to be very
pleasant... at least not the latest and greatest of those.
I've run SUSE 8.0 and even SUSE 9.0 on a P166 with 256M. Memory
is more important nowadays. The big boyz just don't work
well at all with less than 128M.. and usually don't work well
until you get to 256M.
I'd look at some of the smaller lighter weight distributions.
I know that's not very specific.
