Slackware.
It still installs with as little as 8M RAM. It should work well with
your older machines.
I'd recommend something lighter than the latest distribution, say
Slackware 7.1. First, if the CD-ROM is bootable, all of the old bioses
will recognize the el torito boot and install. Also, the kernel is trim
and the older software is less bloated so it runs faster. Netscape 4.78
runs very fast, whereas Netscape 6.0 and above is extremely slow.
