Interesting -- the plot thickens?  For what it's worth, I did a
USPTO (Patent and Trademark Office) to see if "AtomChip" is really
a registered trademark, as indicated on their website.  The search
returns no matching records.  Similarly, searches for "atom" and 
"chip" together (as separate words) don't result in any useful records.  
"Compu-Technics" and "Computechnics" don't return any matching
records either.

So, 
  - they've either applied for the trademark and not received it yet
    (in which case the ® is incorrect)
  - they're a registered trademark somewhere other than the US 
  - I'm not searching for the right phrase

I'm guessing "AtomChip" is not a registered trademark.  :-)
