last meeting, I saw a very nice MythTV system built from "KnopMyth" or 
whatever it's called.  I am in the first stages of development at the 
moment and I need the shopping list for the parts this un-named user used 
in selecting his parts.  (The first stage is convincing my wife we need one 
of these.)  I would like to start by duplicating his system first.

I plan to expand on this system by building multiple machines based on this 
tech.  My idea would be to build a home video network where a main host 
system or set of peers will contain the video catalog and share their files 
to playback units in any given room.  At least one of these will be a 
system that will be used for capture and recording, but other units will be 
tiny machines whose only function will be playback.

In any case, first things first, as part of convincing the wife, I need a 
shopping list. :)  What were the parts you selected and, if possible, where 
you bought them?
