welp...after running the gamut of their tech support - I've found their
addressing to be 'non-standard'...but it should work with your
firewall/router....to see more, read the P.S. below.

The one that came with my 5 Static IP's was the D-Link DI-604 - very
basic, but appears to have a custom firmware...but it was basically trash
for the setup, since it can't be a 'switch' and therefore would consume an
IP - so, I replaced with my own.

Hope that helps!? - Dave

P.S. wanted to answer your question, but also 'move on' for those that
don't want the 'techno-babble'. Here's the meat of my complaint with
their setup:

I believed I was getting a /29....which means 8 IP's, but only 5 are
usable because the first IP is the network definition..the second the
gateway for the range...and the last the Broadcast...so I thought it would
be:

.8 - Network Definition
.9 - Gateway
.10 - .14 - the Five usuable IP's
.15 - Broadcast IP
255.255.255.248 - Subnet Mask

upon setting up my rig for that...no routing/traffic would move...if I
used one of the 5, it worked.....so the tech support calls started..what I
have is:

.1 - Gateway (usually for the whole Class C)
.10 - .14 - the Five usuable IP's
255.255.255.0 - Subnet Mask

even though Arin.net shows that I am the whole /29.....so I've come to the
conclusion that:

1) Either a super-admin is setting it up...and has very specific reasons
2) Wild Monkeys are in charge and must only be MSCE's

I'll leave you to your conclusions.....grin
