Yes, those are the files I was steering you towards.  I'm glad you found 
them.  You need to install the 2 .rpm files.

If you already have X running, look in either /var/log/XFree86.0.log or 
/var/log/Xorg.0.log (whichever you have on your system, unless yours is 
like mine in that I have both but one is a symlink to the other); it 
will tell in there.  If you don't have X running, try "X -probeonly" and 
look thru the output.  If you don't have any X server installed at all, 
you'll probably need some sort of probing software to find out.  Most of 
the install programs have one, or have a utility that does it for them.  
For example, on Suse you'd use /usr/X11R6/bin/sax2.  For other distros 
it will be different, others will have to give you pointers for them.
