Do you think having all your IM sessions archived, indexed and
searchable on Google is a "Good Thing"(TM)? Now take it one step
further, to where all your personal files can be searched by you (or
anyone with your user/pass assuming Google has no bugs or holes to allow
other to get to them) from anywhere. Personally I have no problem
searching the local box and not giving all that data to a third party.
<sarcasm> It is not like google has ever had any issues with security
surrounding any of their products. </sarcasm>
No I don't know of any open google desktops.
Google is not perfect. No one is perfect.

So the question is, how accessible do you want your data? And is it
worth having it there when someone else might gain access?
