I'll let you guess it's mark@?  and he is very active on the ubuntu 
lists including ubuntu-announce and does not disguise his address.

Their product manager may not have gotten to you, been promoted, they 
do have organizational problems themselves since Dapper at RC2 is 
about to go gold and they are growing very fast.  One can use one of 
the other lists to ask who's got that issue now.

Canonical like Debian does expect people to use the lists wiki's and FAQ's

I can however personally recommend Starnix since the owner has been 
on the Toronto LUG and helped me out in tlug and been well respected 
in the open source community for a long time as he claims.  He also 
supports several flavors of Unix as well.  Historically TLUG was 
70/30 Redhat/Debian and now appears to be 70/30 Ubuntu/Debian ever 
since the Fedora fiasco.
