A friend of mine has Charter he had the same problem once , the answer was
simple Mac Address Cloning . He cloned the Mac Address of his new NIC in his
router , Linksys ,Charter has a  help section that describes how to do the
Mac  Address Cloning , so I would assume Comcast would also .
