[NTLUG:Discuss] Fedora Core 5 Package Installer

is a real pain. I got past the "invalid baseurl for repo" problem by
Googling and finding that I needed to change
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-[core|extras|updates].repo to

baseurl=file:///media/disk

This works fine as long as I have a Fedora Core 5 CD mounted. However,
when I selected a package I got "Error downloading headers". In this
case the RPM was actually on the mounted CD. (I tried it a second time
and everything worked).

Anyone know of a configuration which will work around this? Something
where I don't have to have a CD mounted and will tell me "CD n needed"
like the install does?

Thanks.
