[NTLUG:Discuss] Exporting KDE printers

Running CentOS 4.4 with KDE 3.3.  In Control 
Center->Peripherals->Printers I have five "printers" {Advanced Faxing 
Tool, Mail PDF File, Print to File (PDF), Print to File (Postscript) and 
Send to Fax}which I can't seem to assign to a print queue so that I can 
use them.  They show up as printers in KDE programs such as Kedit and 
KPDF but not in other programs such as the GIMP or any of the 
non-KDE-PDF viewers.  Is there a way to make these "printers" available 
to non-KDE programs?  Thanks for any help.
