[NTLUG:Discuss] Vista vs Ubuntu 7.04

I am getting a new laptop (Dell Inspiron 6400 (E1505)) it has Vista Basic
and I pretty much spent all that I had to get it.  So, I am wondering if
anyone has had any luck having Vista and Ubuntu on the same hard drive.  I
have not researched it very much.  I was also wondering about maybe wiping
it and installing Ubuntu and running the Vista under QEmu on Ubuntu.

I only have about 2 reasons to keep Winblows around at all.  I just don't
see the two companies writing stuff for Linux.  Also, will there be someone
at the next meeting that knows about QEmu or Virtualbox.
