[NTLUG:Discuss] WAAAAY OT

Sorry to ask this here, but I need some expert XP help and 
am not sure where to find it. I have a program that absolutely
refuses to start and run unless I click on it's icon.
In other words, any other method of invoking it causes it to hang,
except when I start it (immediate mode?). Yes, I have tried the easy 
stuff (I think) so it's time for someone who actually knows that system.

What little hair I have left is getting nervous.

Please respond off-list since this isn't Linux related.
