I have a EVDO that requires a modprobe to work , so do "dmesg" find the USB
device listed , you will see ID numbers listed for the device : usb3 Floppy
1663 : 1223 , those are the vendor and product IDs "modprobe usbserial
vendor=0x1663 product=0x1223" . Then see if it will mount .
