[NTLUG:Discuss] Questions about KDE and artsd

I'm running SLED10 with SP1.  When I shut down KDE, artsd is restarted
and will hang until I press CTRL-C to exit.  
Does anyone know how to keep artsd from respawning, or even starting?
Does anyone know where I can find the scripts that start artsd when kde
starts and quits?
