Run time was 35 minutes and 17 seconds, and the number of files was 552
does that sound right?
I have a 15229 byte file test_log.txt.gz available if you need it, but I
ran ...
grep -i warning
grep -i can
grep -i error
... against it and came back with nothing - any other strings to look for?
Also, the same process that produced the errors I mentioned earlier
actually runs without error against two other servers (both IRIX 6.4),
and those are usually between 111 and 350 or so files - each all in one
directory.
I am not sure what this suggest. The files being transferred are all
data files (file filename returns data, or in some cases, empty, when
they are).
Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to offer
