I would recommend that!  Eliminating a single point of failure is GOOD.

or 'drives'(plural)  [read: raided OS drives with raided OS swap = good]

unless the OS drives are RAIDed.  (which my OS drives were.  with the 
swap partition raided also, I don't get OS failures if  I unplug a drive)

I suppose I didn't relay my point correctly.   Test this statement for 
verity.

"Placing non-raided swap partitions across multiple drives increases the 
chance of an OS crash should one of the drives containing a non-raided 
swap partition fail?"


And I agree that *ULTIMATELY* one can do whatever they want with their 
configuration -- including not using swap at ALL or even using raid-0  :)
