[NTLUG:Discuss] Gremlins on OpenSuSE 10.2 system?

Guys,

Can anyone help me understand:

1)  Why
is nautilus consuming SO much CPU time?  (this is a dual-core cpu, so it's
totally hogging one of the cores?!?)

System Monitor showed:

2)  Why in the world 'main-menu' would need 175.7 MiB
in memory....when it's doing nothing?
