I would nod to the possibility that may be somewhat political.  I 
consider it somewhat OT (off topic has been I believe the generally 
accepted meaning of OT for purposes of this list - YMMV), because the 
crontab in question is running on another flavor of *nix.  I have always 
been proud of the group's generally positive response to OT questions, 
but I have also always felt it would be impolite not to indicate that 
the question was not purely Linux, in case some people might prefer to 
ignore it.
