[NTLUG:Discuss] Open-source Polycom alternative

So in my search for open-source solutions to implement in the non-profit company that I work for, one solution continues to evade me. It seems like I can find a customized Linux distro for just about every application (VOIP:Trixbox; NAS:OpenFiler,FreeNAS; Firewall:Smoothwall,IPCop; IDS:EasyIDS,StrataGuard; etc) but have yet to find one specifically for video-conferencing.

I've quickly looked at GnomeMeeting, Skype, etc but didn't want to put too much time into them since they didn't have a 10' interface. I'm hoping to find something that requires minimal configuration, is end user friendly, and hopefully compatible with Polycom/Teamstation equipment.

I have found a couple of possibilities but they use SIP and would only be able to conference with other SIP based systems. The following are what I have found so far:

http://vistamcvideophone.oabsoftware.nl/ (Vista Media Center required, not open source)
http://mcesipphone.oabsoftware.nl/ (Windows Media Center required, not open source)
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/MythPhone (Not had much luck getting Mythbuntu to even work yet, let alone trying MythPhone)

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Cory
