Good question.

I think I'm on the hook....

At work I'm putting openSUSE 11.0 on an HP (Compaq) 6710b a new
laptop.  I used a program called alltray to put together some
helper apps that sit in the systray for showing that firewall
is enabled (something interesting to laptop users) and
for setting up a VPN connection and seeing if it is up.

I may also show off the Intel GPU a bit... maybe talk about
NetworkManager.
