Allen Howell , I usually don't start threads so if you do I will join in .
Just though that the comment was uncalled for , I was not trying to sway
anyone one way or another , just my opinion .
Sorry if I offended anyone , but I have used Linux for some 10 years (long
before Ubuntu) so I think I can draw a conclusion as to what I like and
don't .
I am just happy to see someone attempting to learn Linux and leave Micro$oft
behind , whether it be with Ubuntu or whatever distro . For a beginner to
ask a question as Allen M. did , ease of use may not be Ubuntu's strong
points .
Again , sorry if I offended anyone , but I just don't like Ubuntu .
Allen M. glad you are up and running and yes there is another area one could
argue , KDE versus Gnome , some like KDE some don't .
