[NTLUG:Discuss] opensuse and Beagle

I have been using Suse/opensuse since Suse 8.2 and
cannot figure out why anyone thinks beagle is a good
idea. When I install opensuse now, the first thing that
happens after the system comes up is an uninstall
of beagle. Shoot that dawg, throw the carcass to the
buzzards.

I know someone who has had pc's since the early 80s
to, among other things, keep track of all his stuff. He
absolutely cannot remember where things are. Beagle
would probably be just right for someone like him. I,
on the other hand, remember this stuff all too well and,
for me, beagle is just a giant pain in the ass.
