Hi Brian.
First thing I was concerned about, so checked already.
Default supplied by OpenSuse, with two additional server entries,
4.2.2.4 - from my ISP
j2eeguys.com - my server at a colo site.
What was automatically added were the restrict clauses.
My two questions were;
- - Is the port in SuSEFirewall open? (According to the config files, it
should be, and I've restarted the firewall since configuring this)
- - Is ntpd actually answering queries (according to startup logs, it
claims that its ready and willing to).
Obviously, at least one of the above points is wrong, but I have no idea
at this point how to verify.
Suggestions appreciated.
Regards,
Steve
