[NTLUG:Discuss] Virtualbox and installing XP as guest

I have a HP desktop pre loaded XP Pro ORM with no disk. Never concerned me
until now.
I installed VB  and obviously never gave a thought to how I would get XP
into my virtual machine
Now I do have a legal XP pro disk that belonged to a PC I ditched and I am
wondering if I used this one would I have to go through product code again
and suffer the slings arrows of MS.
Is there any options Thanks
